Shipping policy

UBU ships by USPS priority mail at a flat rate determined by the size of your order:

1 rhizome   $12.95

2 rhizomes  $14.95

3 rhizomes  $15.95

FREE SHIPPING on orders of 4 or more rhizomes

Shipping Date: Shipping takes place between the last week of March and the first week of May. The exact date of your shipment will depend on your local forecast. Once we see your region reach planting temperatures, we will ship at the earliest possible date. 

Shipping Day: UBU ships Mon-Wed to ensure that packages are not held up by weekend delays.

Tracking, Notification, and Customer Responsibility: You will receive confirmation and tracking information once your order has left our facility. Please make note of the expected date of arrival and make sure you are available to receive and properly handle your order. Lotus rhizomes are highly sensitive to freezing weather and drying conditions. They need to be removed from their packaging and immediately planted, or properly stored, to ensure successful growth. UBU cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for orders that were improperly received. Please see our guidelines on how to receive your lotus rhizome shipment.
