Creamy feathery petals that slowly unfurl. Blossoms grow just above the leaf level. Some flowers will have petaloids in the center, rather than the plate shaped receptacles most often associated with the lotus. This variation is fun because it is highly adaptable to container size. Grow one this year, split it next spring, and try growing in a variety of pots!
This lotus can be planted as a micro or medium sized lotus. Please let us know which size you prefer.
If growing as a micro lotus, plant in a container that is at least 6" W x 4" H.
If planting as a medium lotus, plant in a container that is at least 15" W x 8" H. The wider you go, the more room it will have to spread.
NOTE: This product is sold as a bare root rhizome, not a mature plant. All product pictures are taken at the peak of the blooming season.
