Not a little green. Not tinged with green. REAL green that lasts! We love this one because it's so different. The bud is a perfect ball shape, more like a peony than a lotus. And the petals are shorter and more dense than you see on most hybrids. you also get an interesting variety from flower to flower, with some opening around a traditional yellow receptacle and others around cluster of petaloids. If planted in a larger pot, this one grows tall, with massive leaves. For us, it blooms later in the season, but is well worth the wait.
Gold and Jade Peony is a Medium/Large lotus.
Plant in a container that is at least 16" W x 8" H. The wider you go, the more room it will have to spread.
